The Elevista Foundationwas conceived when a dedicated group of professionals united with a shared vision: to uplift the dreams of marginalized individuals, groups, and youth while enhancing societal realities. On May 24, 2024, the foundation was officially established. We firmly believe that our goodwill and collaboration with diverse stakeholders will pave the way for responsible and impactful change in society.

Major (Dr.) Dhruba Jyoti Bora, Ph.D. in Public Health, has over 21 years of experience in the healthcare sector. He began his career in 1997 after completing his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Gauhati Medical College and Hospitals, subsequently joining the Indian Army. Dr. Bora served as an Army doctor for seven years before transitioning to a role as a Medical and Health Officer-I in the Sonitpur district of Assam. With a strong commitment to improving healthcare in remote areas of the North Eastern states, he took on leadership roles in several prestigious national and international projects. These include working with the National AIDS Control Organization (NACO), the Piramal Swasthya Management and Research Institute (PSMRI) under NITI Aayog’s Aspirational District Transformation (ADT) Programme, a USAID-sponsored immunization project, and the JICA-supported Assam Health System Strengthening Project, where he contributed to the capacity building of medical staff in Assam
